How share PPT screen but NOT in presenter view? : r/Zoom - Reddit
I use two screens for my work: a laptop and an external monitor. I want to be able to share a PPT presentation on a Zoom call but still take notes in a Word doc on my other screen. Right now, if I hit share screen in Zoom and choose my PPT presentation, by default people see the Normal view (i.e. where you can see the slide thumbnails on the left).

Problem: Spectators see Black Boxes when i'm Sharing my Screen
When i share my screen people see two black boxes, one long rectangule in the top side of their screen and another one to the right side. My guess is that Zoom is sharing my toolbar and the video box i have of them, the spectators, all in black.

Seeing black screen when OTHERS share THEIR screen in Zoom ... - Reddit
Zoom screen sharing issue (FRUSTRATING): When OTHERS share their screen, about 70% of the time, I see a black screen, instead of the shared content. (Issue occurs about 50% of the time - seems to happen with some user's call more than others).

Solution to "Sharing is paused. Bring your shared window to ... - Reddit
The solution I found is to put the slides into presentation mode before sharing the screen on Zoom. And if you like to share the slides, and then stop sharing to have a group conversation, and then share the slides again, be sure not to quit out of presenter mode. If you keep the presentation mode running continually, you will avoid the problem.

“Share multiple desktop screens - Windows, macOS Screen sharing has been enhanced to allow meeting participants to share 2 desktop screens at once. Previously, participants could only share one desktop or multiple different open programs at the same time.” I’ll try to find the correct support document.

The browser-based version is limited. Install the full app version of Zoom and you can select a portion of the screen to share. Then put whatever content you want into the highlighted frame. I don't have Zoom in front of me, but it's on one of the secondary tabs when choosing which content to share. I have a 38" ultrawide and have a FancyZones profile that has a 1920x1080 zone. Makes it super ...

4K monitor & screen share: what’s people’s experience? : r/Zoom
When I share my Powerpoint slides while I’m on a 4K monitor, the video quality of the shard slides seems to break down a little. Presumably, my Zoom client has to do the extra work of reducing the 4k resolution into HD. (Zoom’s Group HD feature requires that you run the application in the full screen mode to be able to share in HD, which means the Powerpoint runs in 4K in my case.) But ...
