Direct Cast Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Direct cast GFRC is defined as casting GFRC with no facecoat (backcoat with fiber only) directly on to the form. A self-consolidating mix that does not require vibration is used. The result is a finished casting with minimal imperfection, excellent strength and no fiber showing. Making flawless direct castings. The mix: • 50% Cementitious – 90% Portland, 10% Trinic White Silica Fume • 50% Sand – 40-50 mesh works fine; you can blend in some smaller size
